What are your dreams for your child?
Maybe you’ve just had a pregnancy confirmed, or even given birth! And you’re wondering who your child will turn out to be.
Perhaps you have some specific dreams for your baby – and expressing them can be helpful.
Here are some ‘dreams’ and statements expressed by other mums and dads.
Feel free to ‘like’ them if you agree with or enjoy any of them, and please post a dream of your own – you can give your name or post anonymously!

Listen to the mustn’ts, child. Listen to the don’ts. Listen to the shouldn’ts, the impossibles, the won’ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me … Anything can happen, child. Anything can be!
My dream for each of my children is that they find true happiness in their own life. That they grow their talents and keep learning. That they make this world a better place when they leave it. That they are kind and generous and proud of who they become.
7 WISHES EVERY PARENT HAS FOR THEIR CHILD: 1. That they will forgive us for the mistakes we’ve made in raising them, and that we were only doing the absolute best that we could. 2. That they will be able to confide in us like a friend, but respect us enough to remember we are still their parent. 3. That they will find a career that they are passionate about that brings them immense fulfillment and purpose. 4. That they will find someone to marry or share their life with that brings out the best in them 5. That they will appreciate the body they’re been given and not be influenced by society’s opinions on the matter 6. That they will have enough joy in their life to override the inevitable heartbreak that they will experience at some point. 7. That they will have a lifetime of health and wellness.
I probably think about my children’s future more than I have ever thought about my own. My top 3 dreams are: 1.That you find a friend who is your best. Someone who loves you for who you are. 2.You find a partner who gets you. One who adores you for just being you and that you adore, in equal measure 3.Your career sees you working in a field you love. Find out what interests you and pursue that.
That my children will flourish, have friends and live a life of happiness.
We know only too well how important it is to work in an occupation that’s fulfilling. Dream big for your child, and make sure your child is well-equipped with academics, social skills, and a strong work ethic. But don’t confuse remuneration with reward. It’s important that you help your child dream this one right.
